about Emilian.
Emilian is an artist and policy professional based in London, with a practice rooted in human rights, climate justice, heritage and community storytelling.
My current project, Climate Chorus, brings together stories, lullabies and protest songs connected to the Niger Delta and South East London, exploring climate grief, environmental injustice and the knowledge that gets passed between generations. Alongside my creative work, I work in public policy, with a particular interest in justice, inclusion and how decisions affect people’s lives.
I’m interested in how we hold space for different experiences, learn from one another and I’m really looking forward to imagining better ways of doing things.
