A little more
about Ladajah.
I’m Ladajah, a LSE law graduate currently completing an LLM in Law and preparing to start my training contract as a solicitor. Alongside law, I’ve spent a lot of my time working with young people and in the charity sector, particularly around youth participation, grant-making and creating opportunities for young people to have a say in decisions that affect them.
My interest in this work is also personal. Having experienced the impact of parental imprisonment on children and families, I’m particularly passionate about ensuring that children and young people are supported through circumstances that are often outside of their control.
I joined Cugoano because I want to learn more about philanthropy and how funding can be used to give more power to young people and grassroots organisations. I’m looking forward to meeting the other Changemakers, sharing ideas and hopefully challenging how I think about creating changes.
